Loomis Soccer Club offers a U8 Academy Program for our 7 year old players that are considering playing competitive soccer when the player is 8 years old. This program is accommodating to multi-sport athletes, less intensive than our normal competitive program, and is designed to accommodate players of all skill levels (i.e. no cuts).
April (Spring Playdates) – Free 1 hour soccer sessions intended to introduce the players and parents to the program and get the kids excited about soccer.
May-August (Summer Academy) – Practice twice a week with a coach and professional trainer. 4v4 games are held during monthly group playdates hosted by Loomis SC and other local U8 programs.
September-November (Fall Academy) – Practice twice a week with a coach and professional trainer. Games will be played at the U9 level in the PYSL 7v7 recreational league to help prepare the players for moving into 7v7 competitive level soccer the following season.
December-February (Off-Season) - There are often opportunities for indoor league games during the off-season.
